Carolyn Sue (Hyder) Baldwin

Carolyn Sue Hyder Baldwin, age 66, of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was the wife of the late Gene Baldwin and the daughter of the late Norman Eugene and Mary Bowman Hyder.

Carolyn worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in geriatric care. She was a member of Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Greenville, TX. She loved reading and studying her Bible and in her younger days, writing short stories.

She is survived by one son, David (Heather) Light; one stepson, Roger Baldwin; and one stepdaughter, Charlene Baldwin. Also surviving are two brothers, Ricky Hyder and Bobby Hyder; six grandchildren, Meah, Deanna, Carly, Morgan, Emma, and Hunter; and two great grandchildren, Raphael and Talia.

A Celebration of Life service will be planned in the future and will be announced prior to that time.
