Calvin Zane Ostwalt Sr

Calvin Zane Ostwalt Sr., 84, formerly of Troutman, passed away Feb. 21, 2010. He was born in Iredell County Feb. 24, 1925, to the late Jesse Dawnson and Flossie Sowers Ostwalt. He is survived by three sons, Calvin Zane Ostwalt Jr. and wife Donna, Lloyd Dale Ostwalt and wife Wanda, and Brian Keith Ostwalt and wife Barbara, all of Troutman; one daughter, Patt Ostwalt-Griffith and husband Bob, of Troutman; one sister, Ann Ostwalt-Cash; and two brothers, Max and Frank Ostwalt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lambert Ostwalt, and two brothers, Jesse and Sam Ostwalt. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
