Callie Mae Eller Wyatt

Callie Mae Eller Wyatt, 97, of Statesville, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Callie was born on June 5, 1928, to the late John Franklin Eller and Ollie Mae Bumgarner Eller in Wilkes County.

She graduated from Miller’s Creek School and was a faithful charter member of Mountain Road Baptist Church. Callie retired from Davis Hospital, where she worked for many years as an admissions clerk.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, and canning, and took great pride in caring for her home and family. Callie especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and the many generations of family who followed. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved cat, Annie.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Judy Roseman (Garry); sons, Jim Wyatt (Lan), Randy Wyatt (Janet), and Jeff Wyatt (Rose); daughters, Kathy Little (Fred) and Robin Wyatt; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Estel Wyatt; one daughter, Carol Cashion; three sisters and a brother.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Mountain Road Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jamie Fox. Burial will be at 3:00 pm at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
