Briana Vayda Booth Shumaker

Briana Vayda Booth Shumaker, age 2, passed away on October 29, 2026, held in the arms of her parents.

Briana loved music, dancing, bubbles, reading, and all things ocean. She never went a day without feeling the love around her and rarely let anyone leave the room before requesting “The Wheels on the Bus.”

She was brave beyond her years, and her smile could light up any room, even a hospital room.

Briana will be forever remembered and loved by her parents, Olivia and Chassity Shumaker; her grandparents, Luci Rudisill, Susan Winebarger, Jeffrey and Carla Winebarger; and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry her in their hearts forever.

A private celebration of Briana's beautiful life will be held for family and friends. Condolences may be sent to PO Box 791, Statesville, NC 28687.
