Brandon Allen White, 43, of Huntersville, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Brandon was born April 9, 1983, in Iredell County, and was the son of the late Janet Whiting White and Timothy Allen White, who survives. He was a 2001 graduate of South Iredell High School. Following high school, he continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his law degree.
Left to cherish Brandon’s memory is his husband, Robert Steven Cook, father, Timothy Allen White (Jacqueline); sister, Jennifer Anselmo (Jason); nieces and nephews, Hannah Moody (Aaron), Emily and Sam Beckwith, and Robert Beckwith; great-niece, Harper Moody and great-nephew, Tucker Moody; mother-in-law, Susie Shearin; and sister-in-law, Stephanie Beckwith (Bobby).
Brandon was a man of sharp intellect, deep loyalty, and an endlessly curious mind. He loved the Golden State Warriors, the rhythm of political debate, and the precision of statistics, especially the joy he found in analyzing polls and arguing their meaning with anyone willing to engage. He had a lifelong love of music charts, particularly the Billboard hits of the 80s and 90s, and could recall them with remarkable clarity. He cherished his years at UNC Asheville and UNC Chapel Hill, where he built friendships that shaped him. Brandon was thoughtful, well spoken, and gifted with a writer’s clarity. He was deeply proud to be an uncle and great uncle, and he adored the children in his life. Above all, Brandon loved his family, and he loved his husband, Robert, with a devotion that was steady and wholehearted. To Robert, he was a true partner and the other half of his life, the person who completed what was missing and made every day brighter simply by being in it.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 23, at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Lane, Davidson, NC. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements for Brandon are in the care of Troutman Funeral Home.
