Bonzie Cook Cline

Bonzie Cook Cline, 91, of Troutman, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Bonzie was born on November 25, 1934, to the late Edward Jay Cook and Pebyle Stephens Cook. She was a member of Ostwalt Baptist Church and a former member of Fern Hill Baptist Church. She worked at Templon Spinning Mills in Mooresville, NC.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Joy Cline Stutts (Roger); son, Frank S. Cline, Jr. (Sharon); grandsons, Randall Stutts, Shellem Cline, and Daniel Cline; great-grandchildren, Ella Cline and Lena Cline; and sisters, Carol Coley and Pat Young (Terry).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Shellem Cline, Sr. and her infant daughter, Trudy Cline.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Troutman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Karter officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Troutman Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Fern Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
