Sept. 2, 1955 - Nov. 8, 2016 William "Bill" Paul Null, 61, of Statesville, passed away to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born on September 2, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed spending time working on transfer trucks. He was a truck driver for 28 years. Bill served for a short time in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his mother, Margaret A. Gerz; his loving wife, Marsha Hendren Null; brother, Michael Null; two nieces; and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Lester C. Null; and his sister, Rosie Elder. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman with the Rev. Dieter Punt officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Iredell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Null’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 308, Troutman, NC 28166 or Hospice of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road Statesville, NC 28625. Troutman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Bill Null.
