Betty (Keller) Pendergrass

Betty Keller Pendergrass, 86, of Statesville, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, in her home.

Betty was born on August 19, 1937, in Iredell County to the late Cecil Jackson Keller and was married to the late Ray Vaughn Pendergrass. Betty was a member of Redemption Baptist Church and worked for Walmart for 30 years.

In addition to her mother and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny, Perry, and Jerry Keller.

Those left to cherish the memory of Betty are her children, Billy Pendergrass, Eddie Pendergrass Sr. (Pam), and Wanda Pendergrass Ramos (Sam); siblings, Marvin Keller, Melvin Keller, Pansy Lackey, Jackie Keller (Peggy), Linda Rimmer (Doug), Wayne Keller (Debbie), Billy Keller (Shelby), and Nancy Duke (Pete); grandchildren, Micheal (Kourtney), Nicole, Eddie Jr. (Amy), Josh, and Michelle (Scott); great grandchildren, Tristen, JD, River, Paisley, Austin, Alyssa, Nate, Laken, Kendal, Samuel, and Amber; great great grandchildren, Isaias, Marcelo, Kolvin, Brantley, Maci, Colton, Noah, and Grayson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 on Tuesday June 4, 2024, at Redemption Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Carrigan officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 2:00-3:00. A burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.
