Betty Neal Campbell Niblock

Betty Neal Campbell Niblock, 88, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026, passed away at her residence.

Born in Iredell County on January 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Durand Forsyth Campbell and Lotus Cornelius Campbell.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Niblock; and two brothers, Allen Campbell and Rex Campbell and her sister, Miriam Campbell.

Betty graduated from Cool Springs High School and Rowan Technical College with a degree in Nursing. She worked and retired as a Registered Nurse at Davis Hospital.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening, taking care of her flowers, music and traveling.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kyle Hinson and J.T. “Theo” Hinson, III; grandson, Kerry L. Hinson; and her sisters, Gayle West and Frances Rasmusson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM at Cool Spring Methodist Church.

The funeral service will begin at 4:30 Pm with Rev. Paul Christie officiating. Burial will follow at Fifth Creek Cemetery.
