Becky Jane Hoover Ladd, 65, of Statesville, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Catawba Medical Center.

Becky was born in Iredell County on June 10, 1959, to the late James Gray Hoover and Sara Collins Hoover.

She graduated from South Iredell High School (Class of 1978) and worked as a private home care giver. Becky was larger than life and she had an outgoing personality. She loved traveling, especially going on cruises, and she lived life to the fullest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Wayne Ladd, Sr. and brother, Tony L. Hoover.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Amy Ladd (Damon); son, Garry Ladd (Crystal); grandchildren, Rebecca Ladd (Luke), Caleb Ladd, Piper Ladd, and Grayson Turner; special friend, Chris Sealey; brother, Dennis Hoover (Joy), sisters-in-law, Mary Jane McNeely (Rodney) and Pam Wingler (Tommy); many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Monday, December 30, at 11:00 am at Iredell Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Mitchell Rash. The family will receive friends at Troutman Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monticello Volunteer Fire Department, 160 Travis Loop, Statesville, NC 28625.
