Barbara Tucker Lippard

Barbara Sarah Tucker Lippard, 82, of Statesville, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at her residence.

Born in Iredell County on August 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Earl Pressley Tucker, Sr. and Grace Steele Tucker.

Barbara was educated in the Iredell County Schools and spent many years as a stay-at-home wife and mother. Later in life, she worked and retired from Statesville Auto Auction and was an active member for over 40 years at Bethlehem Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Boyce Lippard; two daughters, Ruth Lippard and Sally Wiley (Shane); and two grandchildren, Jacob Wiley and Timothy Wiley (Sarah).

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Troutman Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Iredell Memorial Park with Pastor Max Hayes officiating.

The family would like to express their sincerest and deepest gratitude to the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County for the wonderful care and love shown to Barbara and their family.
