Barbara Lou Everidge

Barbara Reavis Everidge, 89, of Statesville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 22,2026, at Autum care of Statesville.

Barbara was the daughter of the late John Wesley Reavis Sr. and Carrie Mae Hoke Reavis. She attended Statesville City School and was married to the late Billy Ray Everidge, who passed away in June of 2012. She was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church, and she worked in retail her entire life and was a long-time employee of Wal-Mart Supercenter.

Barbara is survived by one son, Gary Everidge and his wife, Jonna of Statesville; three grandchildren, Tim Everidge and wife, Chantae of Maiden, Josh Everidge and wife, Ashley, and Mark Everidge and wife, Laura, both of Statesville; eight great-grandchildren, Cierra, Dylan, Caleb, and Arianna of Maiden, Adaylnn and Kylie of Statesville, and Lillian and Christopher (Bubba) of Statesville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday September 24 at Troutman funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 25 at Crossroads Baptist Church located at 1633 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir.
