Arleen Roberts

Feb. 20, 1933 - July 7, 2017 Arleen Marie Mallernee Roberts, 84, formerly of Mooresville, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Novant Hospice in Matthews. Arleen was born February 20, 1933 in Nottingham Township, OH to the late Harold V. and Lena Marie Hickenbottem Mallernee. She is survived by her sons, Patrick (Donna) Roberts of Charlotte and Greg (Dannette) Roberts of Hayward, CA; her daughter, Cheryl (Tim) Reid of Matthews; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Arleen was preceded in death by her husband, Carver Roberts. A private graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Iredell Memorial Park in Statesville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arleen’s memory may be made to Hospice Novant Health Matthews Medical Center, 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105.
