Anita Irene Irwin Smith

Anita Irene Irwin Smith, 79, of Troutman, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Anita was born December 7, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Elmer and Helen Irwin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harrison Smith, son, Gregory Smith, and a brother, Roger Irwin.

Those left to cherish Anita’s memory are her son, Matt Smith and wife, Stefanie; grandchildren, Nolan, Keira, Gavin, Cady and Wesley Smith; and sister, Brenda Behrens.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Troutman Funeral Home is serving the Smith family.
