Angelina Ficarra O'Donnell

Angelina F. O’Donnell, 90, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. She was a resident of Rio Rancho, N.M. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Nunez (Porfirio); her son, Richard O’Donnell, of Yadkinville; four grandsons, Richard O’Donnell, Griffith O’Donnell, Michael Reeves and Porfirio Nunez, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Bartholomew Ficarra, of Toms River, N.J. Angelina worked for N.J. Bell Telephone for 35 years and retired when she was 83 from her second career as a cashier at Harris Teeter in Statesville. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church, 525 Camden Drive, Statesville, N.C. Interment will follow at Iredell Memorial Park, 2304 Shelton Avenue, Statesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, N.C., 28202.
