Amy Knapp

Amy Reddings Knapp, 51, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Amy was born in Iredell County on April 28, 1973, to James Reddings and Donna Ehret Reddings, who survive.

She was a member of Charis Community Church. She loved being outdoors, glamping, Halloween, spending time with her grandbabies, and going to the gym. Amy loved all things sparkly and was an avid Big Foot follower. Amy had a vibrant personality and an infectious smile that touched all she met.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Knapp (Amber); daughter, Allegra Hope (Jarrod); granddaughters, Alaya and Alivia Hope; sister, Nancy Kletsch (Jack); numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, at 10:30 am at Command Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Scott Whitman. The family will visit with friends following the service.
