Alfred Henry Womack, 75, of Troutman, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Columbia, SC to the late Juanita and Horace Womack. He was a retired salesman. He is survived by his wife, Doreen S. Womack, of the home; son, Christopher T. (Regina) Womack of Troutman; daughter, Terri W. (Doug) Mecimore of Statesville; brothers, Dooley Womack of Irmo, SC and Larry Womack of Dallas, Tx; and eight grandchildren, Joshua, Jada and Hope Towner, Jessica (Daniel) Boggs, Josh Mecimore, Whitney Womack, Samantha Lloyd and Cyrus Langlois. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bridgette Davis. The family will receive friends Monday evening, August 13, 2012, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Fallstown Baptist Church with the Rev. David Troutman officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Fallstown Baptist Church cemetery. The family has requested memorials be made to the Fallstown Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 1035, Troutman, NC 28166.
