Verronia Quesenberry

Devoted wife and mother, Verronia Patton Quesenberry, 76, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

Verronia was born in Tazewell County, Virginia, on July 27, 1948, to the late Herbert Randolph Patton and Irene Perdue Patton. She was a member of Friendship Methodist Church, where she loved volunteering. She also had a love for arts and crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Galliher.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Terry Quesenberry and Greg Quesenberry (Greta); daughter, Lisa Quesenberry Lundy (Bradley); brother, Randolph Patton; granddaughter, Sophie Quesenberry; grandson, Abram Quesenberry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 29 at Friendship Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Lorton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends following the service and they request that those who attend come dressed in casual attire.
