Steven Eric Morin, 30, of Mooresville, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 14, 1981 in West Virginia to Robert Joseph and Loretta "Sissy" Hensley Morin. In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his wife, Tammy Ann White Morin; one son, Michael Joseph; three daughters, Kayla Marie, Kathryn Nicole and McKenzie Faith; and one brother, Matthew Joseph Morin and wife, Amy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Anthony Morin. Eric enjoyed spending time with his children and family. He enjoyed being with people and was an all around good person. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Crestview Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2-4:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested monetary contributions be made to Troutman Funeral Home in aid of payment for the services.
