Sharon Ann (Lounsbury) Martino

Sharon Ann Lounsbury Martino, 76, of Statesville passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Sharon was born March 12, 1947 in Danbury, CT and was the daughter of the late William and Lillian Lucsky Lounsbury. She was a graduate of Danbury High School in Connecticut. On July 1, 1967, she married Tony Martino, who survives. Together they raised two sons and joined Mountain Road Baptist Church, when they moved to Statesville, NC.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Tony Martino (Sonia) of Charleston, SC, Joe Martino of New Preston, CT; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Courtney), Vince and Tia Martino; one great granddaughter, Lilith Jennifer Edens; a special Statesville son, Heath Little (Tonya) and their two children; Skylar and Celeste Little.

A Celebration of life service will be held 3:00pm Friday, April 14, 2023 at Mountain Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
