Robin Simone Padgett

Oct. 13, 1960 - Dec. 3, 2014 On December 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, Robin Simone Padgett, 54, of Statesville lost her courageous fight against cancer. Robin was born in Detroit, MI to James J. and Helene Houser Westfall of Holly Lake Ranch, TX. She was a loving wife and mother who treasured spending time with her family and pets, enjoying trips to the beach, cooking and baking, as well as gardening and spending time outdoors enjoying the sunshine. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, William "Billy" G. Padgett, Jr. of Statesville; her beautiful daughters, Karah Elizabeth and Jordan Simone Padgett of Statesville; son, Jason Michael (Stephanie) Padgett of Krum, TX; sister, Michelle Westfall of Hurst, TX; brother, Marc Westfall of Henderson, NV; and her canine babies, Ava, Charlie, Corky and Spice. Robin leaves behind many dear friends from The Cove Church in Mooresville and Statesville and those she met as a Sales/Customer Service Specialist at Glen Raven Trivantage in Statesville. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held for Robin on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at The Cove Church, Statesville Campus, with the Rev. David Porter officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The American Cancer Society or Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
