Michelle Leigh (Baker) Holman

Michelle Baker Holman, 48, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025.

Michelle was born January 12, 1976, to John Baker and Juanita Waller Lazenby.

She was a graduate of Southview Christian School and UNC Charlotte and went on to work for the City of Statesville. She loved hosting parties and entertaining. She had a passion for cooking, enjoyed spending time sitting by the pool and loved planning family vacations. Michelle was an amazing daughter, sister, wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her husband of seven years, John Holman; son, Tyson Holman; step-father, Mark Lazenby; sister, Natalie Hilderbrand (Cary); sister-in-law, Brandi Holman; brother-in-law, Will Bowser (Hannah); and her fur babies, Hauss and Carmella.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Frank Blankenship. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 14 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home.

Troutman Funeral Home will be serving the family.
