Melissa (Jenkins) Kuelbs

Melissa J. Kuelbs, 51, of Stony Point NC, went to be with her Savior and Lord on August 11, 2022, after a short and surprising illness.

Melissa was a graduate of West Iredell High School, Class of 1988. After graduating, she attended Kings College, where she obtained her Certified Medical Assistants degree.

She was employed at Piedmont HealthCare for 29 years, first working at their Head, Neck, and Ear facility, and then recruited to the Information Technology Dept as an Application Analyst. She then helped her husband KK part time at Kuelbs Landscaping.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Eva Jenkins and her father, Lewis Jenkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Marilyn Jo Jenkins, her husband, KK Kuelbs, her sister, Gina Parker (Tony), sister-in-law, Jodie Hester (Mike), brother-in-law, Les Kuelbs(Helen), nieces, Aly Parker, Ashton Parker, and Morgan Hester and nephews, Liam Kuelbs and Nolan Hester (Corinne).

Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 18 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Troutman, NC. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
