Duane Curtis Clark

Duane Curtis Clark, age 59, of Statesville, died unexpectedly on Friday November 8, 2024. Duane was born November 24, 1964, in Lorain County, Ohio to the late James B Clark and Donna Clark who survives. Duane married Terry Shook January 1,2004 and took their vows of sickness and health to heart, caring for each other for over 20 years. Along with his wife and mother, Duane is survived by his two children, Shawn Clark and Jennifer Boutto (Chad); his two stepchildren, Tera Dufault (Seth) and Brad Stroud Jr (Laura); his grandchildren, Payton, Alli, Henry, and Destiny. He is further survived by a brother, Darrin Clark and his uncle William (Bill) Shaffer. Duane was preceded in death by his father and his grandson, Christopher Reid, who we know will get to enjoy all the love pawpaw has to give. The role of pawpaw was Duane's greatest title, and he took it very seriously since the moment he found out he would be one. The family would like to thank the staff of West Iredell Dialysis for all the years of care. Duane requested not to have a service, so until we meet again, rest easy Duanus. We love you and will miss you.
