Donald Roy Grant, 85, of Statesville, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.
Donald was born on February 23, 1939, in Iredell County and was the son of the late Braxton Grant and Ida Wilson Grant. Donald was a graduate of Central High School. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and worked as a farmer.
In addition to his parents, Doanld was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Moose Grant and their son, Donnie Grant.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, November 20 at Temple Baptist Church 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with Rev. Randy Mitchell. Burial will follow at Ham’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
