Dale Johnson

Dale Johnson, 78, of Statesville, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on November 5, 2024. He was born on May 1, 1946, to the late Edgar James Johnson and Ora Nance Johnson.

Dale loved Nascar racing, his Ford Mustangs, and his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ora J. Penrose; brothers, James Johnson, Carol Johnson, Darol Johnson, Doug Barnette, David Barnette, Don Barnette, and sister, Gwyne Nauert.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Edwina J. Hedrick (David), and Nora J. Benfield (Chris); brothers, EJ Johnson (Fefe), Wayne Johnson (Diane); sister, Karon J. Ball; grandchildren, Shana Willis, and Brandon Willis; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 8, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Curtis White officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
